Glen Park Community Centre has a range of community services to engage the local community's needs. Immunisation Sessions

Every second month; excluding public holidays Maroondah City Council’s immunisation service will be attending Glen Park Community Centre on Monday 6th March for immunisations. Maroondah City Council’s Immunisation staff can:

  • Advise you on the “No Jab, No Pay” and “No Jab, No Play” legislation changes
  • Provide vaccinations as per the National Immunisation Program (6 weeks to 19 years)
  • Answer any immunisation question you may have (excluding travel vaccine information)

You will need to bring your Medicare card and any immunisation history or record for each child. Please call (03) 9294 5627 to make an appointment to put your child’s immunisation history or record on the central register or create a catch up schedule for any child between 0 and 19 years of age.

Dates for Term III are: July 3rd and Sept 4th

Dads in Distress

Dads in Distress provides specialised peer support & referral network to Dads going through the trauma of family breakdown. Every Tuesday from 7.30pm - 9.30pm from 3.1.17 - 19.12.17. Maroondah City Council - Volunteer Vacancy

Garden Volunteers Needed

Got a green thumb? Or looking to start a new hobby and meet new people in your spare time? Then the Glen Park Oaks Community Garden is just the thing for you! Council is currently looking for volunteers to help operate and maintain the garden, which was officially opened in November 2013.

The garden features raised planter beds with a variety of vegetables and ornamental plants. Volunteers will enjoy being part of something that contributes to the local community and can also enjoy the produce – a tasty benefit. Yarrunga Trekkers

Yarrunga Trekkers are a small and friendly community based walking group that operate in collaboration with Yarrunga Community Centre, located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
