Community Support Services / Resources

Diversity and equal opportunity are vitally important to Glen Park Community Centre Inc. and we recognise that a successful workforce includes people from all walks of life, representing the needs of the local community.

Glen Park Community Centre has a range of services available which address need and promote a healthy, inclusive and connected community - free from poverty, isolation and injustice.

Free Community Pantry

The Community Pantry was designed to provide relief to people experiencing extreme hardships such as homelessness and food insecurity, so that vulnerable community members have access to food and material aid when they need it most. Glen Park's Social Enterprise Cafe - Cafe on the Park, works tirelessly to ensure your Community Pantry is stocked full of personal hygeine items, perishable and non-perishable items of food, such as fresh fruit, veggies, bread, meat, eggs and so much more. The Community Pantry will be operating on a fortnightly basis in 2024. For a full list of Community Pantry dates, please contact the office on (03) 9720 5097 or office@glenparkcc.com.au

Membership eligibility criteria applies. Please contact the office to find out if you're eligible for Glen Park's Community Pantry.

If you don't fall into the abovementioned eligibility criteria but still need access to the pantry and believe you should be eligible, please let us know by contacting us on (03) 9720 5097, dropping in and having a chat or sending us through an email.

Thank you to Maroondah City Council, Bendigo Bank, FoodBank Vic, Bakers Delight - Heathmont, FareShare, Eastland Shopping Centre and local supporters for making the Community Pantry possible.
