Welcome to Glen Park

Glen Park Community Centre is a friendly, supportive and welcoming environment for everyone in the community.

Our mission is to create a strong, connected community - free from poverty, isolation and injustice, where every person has access to food, housing, social and economic participation, lifelong learning and support.

We’re a member of Learn Local - a network of over 300 not-for-profit organisations across Victoria offering adult community education and training to people from all walks of life.

We also have the wonderful Café on the Park on site, offering delicious meals, catering, training and volunteering opportunities.

Take your time browsing through our website to find out what opportunities your Centre has to offer you.

Glen Park Opening Term 3, 2020

Due to the current State of Emergency, Glen Park Community Centre has been closed to the public since 23rd March. With the easing of restrictions, Glen Park plans to re-open the centre with some temporary business hours that will slowly incease throughout July/August.

Glen Park aims to re-open the centre on Tuesday 6th July from 10am - 2pm, with limited staff on site and some staff still working from home. Scheduled programs will resume the week commencing Monday 13th July and will be a staggered start to reduce the amount of foot traffic in the centre.

Although the centre plans to re-open in July, Cafe on the Park will remain closed until further notice. A notice will be sent out once a date has been confirmed.

To continue to read the statement from Glen Park Management and Committee, please click on this link. The letter outlines safety and cleaning measures that will be put in place for your safety.
