Free Community Meals
Cafe on the Park are back hosting our FREE monthly Community Meals for all members of our community in 2022. Come down and enjoy some nutritious food, create long lasting friendships and help promote social inclusion.
The Community Meals will happen on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, commencing 16th March 2022. Meals are served at 6:00pm sharp and are limited to 30 places, bookings are not necessary.
The Community Meals are prepared by a fully qualified chef with over 27 years' experience in the hospitality industry and are served in our registered Social Enterprise Cafe - Cafe on the Park. We provide a main meal and dessert, and all our meals are fresh, nutritious and DELICIOUS!
You can be sure to enjoy a warm meal and engage in fun conversations while getting to know local members of your community, as well as our staff and volunteers.

Free Community Pantry
The Community Pantry was designed to provide relief to people experiencing extreme hardships such as homelessness and food insecurity, so that vulnerable community members have access to food and material aid when they need it most. Glen Park's Social Enterprise Cafe - Cafe on the Park, works tirelessly to ensure your Community Pantry is stocked full of personal hygeine items, perishable and non-perishable items of food, such as fresh fruit, veggies, bread, meat, eggs and so much more. Free Egg & Bread Collection
Glen Park Community Centre provide a free egg and bread collection to eligible community members, during business hours between Tuesday to Friday. Membership eligibility applies.
This collection has been made possible with the support from Bakers Delight in Heathmont and Woolworths in Bayswater.
Please note that Glen Park Community Centre cannot guarantee stock on a particular day due to limitations of donations.

Free School Uniform & School Supplies Collection
In partnership with Eastland, Glen Park Community Centre collected preloved school uniforms and new school supplies through our donation point at Eastland Shopping Centre.
To support our local families who may be struggling with the expense of the school year, Glen Park will be hosting a series of FREE collection dates by appointment in 2022. If you or someone you know are finding it difficult to juggle the costly return to school, please call to register for the next collection date at Glen Park. Please also note that we cannot guarantee a supply of a particular school’s uniform, all of the stock is now generic colours.

Parents Beyond Breakup (Dads in Distress)
Dads in Distress provide specialised peer support & referral network to parents going through the trauma of family breakdown. Dads in distress runs every Tuesday from 7.30pm - 9:30pm from 04/01/2022 - 27/12/2022.

Parent Support Groups - Anglicare
Are you a parent or carer of a child with a disability or developmental delay (with or without a formal diagnosis)? Could you use a bit of support and connection with others who understand? Join other parents and carers in this monthly parent support group.
Share stories and strategies, have a cuppa, a chat and some laughs.
Groups are offered during the day throughout school terms in 2022.
Free to attend. Bookings are essential.
