Glen Park Community Centre are taking expressions of interest for our highly sought-after hospitality centred program “Hungry 4 Success®”, commencing in Term 2 2021.
Hungry 4 Success® is a program that provides pre-accredited training in communications, job readiness and hospitality. The program operates out of a registered Social Enterprise Café and catering business – Café on the Park, and includes on the job placement and mentoring from a chef with over 27 years’ experience in the industry.
We’re looking for a number of enthusiastic, motivated and creative individuals to take part in this exciting and innovative program. No previous experience in hospitality is required, just a passion to learn, grow and achieve goals.
A commitment of 2.5 days a week for a minimum of 10 weeks is required. Please note that dates have not been confirmed as of yet.
Hungry 4 Success® is a targeted program for those who are aged 16-25, out of school, early school leavers, unemployed or underemployed, who would like to gain experience in hospitality.
Places are very limited, so it’s important to get in quick! Waitlists may operate for this program – first in, best dressed!
